I have been making this for years. Although my original version used peanut butter exclusively, I subbed sunbutter when my boys were going to a nut free preschool, and we loved the results. It is because of this super simple dip that I have never tried to make homemade nutella. Maybe someday, but until then we enjoy this treat with fresh fruit, mixed into homemade yogurt, and once in a while just off of a spoon.

2 Minute Chocolate Dip

1/4 cup sunflower butter (or peanut butter, almond butter, etc)

1/4 cup coconut oil

1/4 cup cocoa powder

2 TBSP sweetener of choice (maple syrup, honey, cane sugar, coconut sugar, birch tree sugar, etc) OR Stevia to taste

1/2 tsp vanilla (optional)

1/8 tsp sea salt

Combine all ingredients in a small food processor or mix extensively with a fork (I usually use a fork if I am using liquid sweeteners and a food processor for a granular type). That is it. 2 minute chocolate dip, cut back on the coconut oil (use 2 TBSP) and you have more of a spread.
