Big Move

This weekend was lovely. Absolutely beautiful weather that just demanded that we spend as much time as possible outside. It was the perfect opportunity to open up the coop and give it a complete cleaning in preparation for some new occupants. Some vinegar, some water, and plenty of sunshine later and the girls are ready for their big move to the big outdoors. It is a big move that I am ready for. They are too. The other day the little ladies were squabling over a patch of sunshine streaming through the window and into the brooder. I want to get them settled outside while the weather is nice, before winter kicks in (even though our winters are pretty mild compared to most) and it becomes a big shock to their systems. It won't be long now.
