Chickens Live Outside

The chickens now live outside in their spacious coop! The chicks are six weeks old, the weather is warm and beautiful, they have moved outside. It was a fun little adventure carrying each one up out of the basement and off to their new home. Each chick had a slightly different reaction. Puzzled, curious, scared, trying to escape, trying to stay still and invisible. Once all the little ladies made the trip out to their new home it took about 15 minutes for everyone to start scratching the ground, taking dust baths, and generally start acting like chickens should.

This post is part of 31 Days- a writing challenge and twenty-seventh in my baby chick series!
